Costa Rica rose for the second consecutive year in the index of ease of doing business ( doing business ) who posted last night the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank .
The country jumped from 122 in 2012 to 109 in 2013 and to 102 in 2014 ( data are handled in the previous year ), among 185 countries .
The Vice President Luis Liberman said last night that is a major achievement improved 20 places in two years.
He expects that the adoption of the draft law on secured transactions (allowing use contracts, invoices , patents , among others, as lending support ) the country will go.Costa Rica had a remarkable improvement in opening a business , in which advanced 24 positions .
” This is due to business regulation reforms , such as improvements in the ease of starting a new business by creating an online platform for business registration , reducing the time to enroll in social security , and by simplifying legalization of the books of the companies, “said the World Bank.
The other area of improvement was the handling of building permits , which rose 37 positions due to elimination of procedures and the launch of an online platform that streamlined the process to integrate the efforts of approval, the statement said.
